Killorglin Community Childcare Centre CLG, trading as Scamps & Scholars (“we”, “us”), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what choices you have. It covers this website only. How we handle information about the children in our care is set out in our Data Protection Policy, which you can download from our Policies page.

Information you give us

When you use the contact form, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number and your message.

We use this information only to respond to your enquiry. When you submit the form we also send you an automatic confirmation email.

When you join our waiting list, you complete a form hosted by Google Forms. Google processes what you enter there, and we use it to manage the waiting list under our Waiting List Policy.

Information collected automatically

Analytics. If we use Google Analytics, it only runs with your consent. It does not set any cookies until you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Hosting and security. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Who we share information with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and respond to you:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting and security
  • Brevo: delivery of form enquiries and confirmation emails
  • Google: waiting list forms, and website analytics (only with your consent)

We may also disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and to meet our legal obligations.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the Data Protection Commission.

Children

This website is for parents and guardians. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
